Mansour

I paint from the heart. My paintings are like my children. Before I begin painting, I

isolate myself for a few moments of privacy while I visualize the completed picture in my imagination. As I focus on the painting, it begins to evolve. The most exciting moment occurs when the painting starts taking on a life of its own. That moment feels like a new baby coming to life. Out of happiness, I want to hold this creation to my heart, as it is a part of me. At that moment, I feel my spirit become bright with light. Now that the painting is completed, I feel a sense of relief, joy and separation as a new mother does after giving birth.. I keep the painting near me for a few days, as it brings a special feeling of enjoyment to me. This process gives me much happiness and inspires the energy needed to create again. For me, as an artist, it is important to show the feelings, emotions, and the reality of the Egyptian people and society in which I am living. This is what gives me the greatest satisfaction in my life.
